The firm · Consider it done.

Your company in Saudi Arabia, set up right.

HALAS helps foreign founders and companies establish and run their business in the Kingdom. From the first investment licence to a fully operating company, we handle the licensing, registration, tax and staffing so you can focus on the business itself.

Who we are

HALAS began with a simple frustration: setting up in Saudi Arabia arrives as a maze of forms, ministries and waiting, and most founders spend months chasing it instead of building. We set out to be the opposite of that. We take ownership of the whole setup, we stay until the company is genuinely operating, and we measure ourselves by companies that get running, not by paperwork we file. In the years since, we have helped establish more than 200 companies in the Kingdom.

The name carries the idea. In everyday Arabic, khalas means done, settled, resolved — the same promise as our line, "Consider it done." A licence that felt impossible should leave our desk approved, with an owner, a date and a next step.

We work across the full setup lifecycle — MISA investment licence, company formation, commercial registration, tax and Zakat, GOSI and Saudization, visas and government relations — because a market-entry question is never just one filing. Handing you off between a dozen desks is where most business-setup quietly stalls; we keep it under one accountable team.

What we believe

Four commitments that shape how we take on work and how we hand it back.

01

Clarity over volume

A recommendation that fits on one page and survives a hard question beats a hundred slides that survive neither. We do the compression so you do not have to.

02

We stay accountable

We are not done when the report is sent. We are done when the decision is made, the plan has an owner and the first results are on the table.

03

Plain, early candor

If the honest answer is that a plan will not work, you hear it from us first and in private, while it is still cheap to change course.

04

Grounded in the region

Regulation, capital and relationships in Saudi Arabia move differently than a global playbook assumes. We advise from inside that context, not above it.

How we are built

We are a senior team by design. The people who scope your engagement are the people who do the work; we do not sell partners and staff juniors. That keeps the room small, the thinking honest and the accountability personal.

Every engagement runs to a short, written contract: the decision to be made, the evidence we will gather, the date we will bring it back. You always know what we are doing, why, and when you will see it. No standing meetings that exist to fill a retainer.

We also run one of the deepest Chinese-Saudi desks in the Kingdom. A bilingual team based in Riyadh guides Chinese companies through licensing, registration, tax and operations in their own language, closing the distance that usually makes market entry slow.
