Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026© 2026 HALAS
This policy explains what information HALAS collects when you contact us or use the client portal, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific on purpose.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry or book a consultation, we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email, phone number and the message itself. When you use the client portal, we hold the documents and messages exchanged as part of your engagement.
We also collect basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as approximate location and device type, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, deliver and manage engagements, send communications you have asked for, and meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with the people who need it to do the work: our own team and, where an engagement requires it, named specialists bound by the same confidentiality. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We never share client information for marketing.
Retention & security
We keep information only as long as needed for the engagement and any legal record-keeping we are subject to, then delete or anonymise it. Access is restricted to the team members who need it, and portal data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent to non-essential communications at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
Questions about your data
Email us and a member of the team will help. We treat privacy questions with the same seriousness as any client matter.
